Welcome to the Last Visit First Podcast. We are live here in Orlando, Florida, at the Home Care Home Base User Conference. I am subbing in for the host Tom Maxwell. I'm Jennifer Maxwell, very excited to be here. I have a wonderful group of people here from QAPI Plus. I would love for them to introduce themselves first, tell us a little bit about you individually, and then tell me a little bit more about your company, and we'll go from there. "Hello everyone. I am Lara, co-founder and CTO of QAPIplus."

QAPIplus (00:35)

Thank you. My name is Armine Khudanyan. I'm the CEO of QAPI Plus. And my name is Jared Robey. I am the Chief Growth Officer at QAPI Plus. So involved in sales, marketing, and then ongoing customer success for our organization.

Jenn (00:49)

That is awesome.

So then tell me a little bit about QAPI Plus. I know that's you guys are a fast growing organization and you provide solutions that are really, really helpful for the for the space. So tell me a little bit more about QAPI Plus and what you do.

QAPIplus (01:04)

Yeah, absolutely. So QAPI Plus is a quality improvement and compliance software layered in for organizations to really manage their process end-to-end. So from plans to reporting to really the performance improvement aspects that all organizations are are focused on right now. We help streamline that process and then also give visibility from an enterprise perspective to see how you know each organization, each agency is performing across their footprint.

Jenn (01:32)

Awesome. So a lot of the compliance kind of components and things like that, what do you think is probably like the most number one problem that your customers face when you come in to try to help?

QAPIplus (01:44)

I think a lot of our organizations have a lot of data. Right? We have data coming in from documentation, data comes in from CMS quality compliance, and where we bring value to our clients is what do you do with this data? So we operationalize quality.

And our organizations can now look at their data, prioritize where their needs are or where their gaps are, and actually document their interventions and document the performance improvement and see which interventions work and so that you can really have that insight into how the improvement was made and then go back to their data and see the actual change.

Jenn (02:30)

That's great. So real time kind of change

QAPIplus (02:32)

Real time.

Jenn (02:34)

and performance improvement, right?

QAPIplus (02:36)

We

we mentioned a lot that we help organizations kind of flip the script where all of their time and effort today is focused on on trying to gather data, right, and build reports and everything else. And there's not really a lot of time left over for the actual improvement, the documentation that Armine was mentioning, and so if we can shift that time, focus and effort towards the actual improvement, we can see that needle move a lot quicker.

Jenn (02:59)

That's awesome. So when you're here at a conference like this, what do you think is the biggest value for you as a vendor in this space to help not only promote your business but to support the industry as a whole?

DNA is innovating and bring technology to healthcare and having all the vendors around around here and seeing what they are doing and what we can bring to health care it's this is our DNA. Yeah, it's so much fun. There's lot of energy,

what do you think has been the biggest highlight for you guys individually as as a business, from sessions or content or anything like that? What do you think is like the biggest buzz?

QAPIplus (03:47)

I mean AI, obviously. I mean, it has been for a long time. That's what

Jenn (03:49)

Yeah.

QAPIplus (03:51)

we always hear. And I think it's just the the evaluation of what's real, what's not, where can we apply this to our business and where is it gonna have, you know, meaningful input for how we can improve as an organization. And I think to build on what Laura mentioned, what we get out of this is not only the conversations that we're having with providers that are here at the at the conference, but also the conversations that we have with other vendors and we're not stuck on just

competing with other vendors, we want to partner with other vendors, right? And so if we can make a more holistic solution end to end between what we do and other organizations do, it's all about the providers and we just want to make sure it's a good experience for them.

Jenn (04:30)

Yeah, you know it was interesting.

I had another interview earlier today and

with element five and Joe was talking about that that you know they're go they're striving for ninety percent, right? To be able to be ninety percent of a solution, but knowing that that we can't all be just one solution to all and it is about that partnership. And I think the partnership that Home Care Home Base brings to the table to allow us all to be able to inter interact with their software, make it better, make it more useful and end users friendly as as as

Wow.

QAPIplus (05:03)

Yeah, this is

a great event. I I was thinking about this earlier. I think it's my twelfth time here and every year. I mean this has been one of the best so far that I've been at. And we haven't even gotten to vanilla ice yet. So like it's just gonna get better. so

Jenn (05:14)

No, right?

QAPIplus (05:17)

it's been a really good event so far.

Jenn (05:19)

That's great. Well,

I want to thank you three for coming and sharing this little microphone with me as I'm subbing in for the last visit first. very excited. I want to thank Home Care Home Base for allowing us to do this and super excited to see the White Party tonight.

QAPIplus (05:38)

Looking forward to it. Thank you so

much. Thank you for having us. Thank you.
